Mantra Medical started with a simple question: Why don't doctors clean their stethoscopes?
After realising that the answer was that there is no simple way to clean a stethoscope, the first idea was generated; Mantra Medical was incorporated in December 2009 to allow development of the stethoscope diaphragm cleaner. Other ideas soon followed and by late 2010 Mantra Medical was working on a range of products to solve real problems within the clinical environment.
Interest in Mantra Medical grew within the local business community and the company successfully attracted significant investment while still at the prototyping stage. The company also established excellent links with local development authorities including:
By May 2011 an extensive programme of product development, IP development, quality assurance and research frameworks was well underway, and the company had expanded to include as board members senior business figures with considerable influence.

Mantra Medical is now perfectly placed to become a major player in eradicating the spread of infection within hospitals, promoting staff safety and the patient experience. We are committed to intensive product design and extensive testing to ensure our products are of the very highest quality and safety.
