Paul Hercock

Managing Director

Founder and Managing Director of Mantra Medical Limited, Paul qualified in medicine from the University of Nottingham in 2002. He trained in surgery to become a member of the Royal College of Surgeons before specialising in Emergency Medicine and Trauma. As well as medicine, Paul also achieved a Distinction in Law from Nottingham Law School in 2011.

Paul founded Mantra Medical to address problems in the clinical field that were in urgent need of a solution. His ideas form the backbone of Mantra Medical, but the main strength of the company flows from a synergy of these ideas with the expertise and input of the other members of the team.

Paul is committed to using his medical background to constantly identify new areas in need of a solution to ensure that Mantra Medical constantly expands and evolves. He is also very keen on ensuring that all our devices are perfect for use in the clinical environment. His focus and passion is now to make a real difference to patient and staff wellbeing through products developed by Mantra Medical.

Tony Hercock

Director of Management Systems and QA

Tony has a very extensive range of managerial experience having worked in local government at a senior level for many years. He has also worked as a non-executive director of a hospital trust, is Chairman of the Organ Donation Committee for a district general hospital, is a Director and Trustee of Rotherham MIND, a mental health charity and is a Governor of a local primary school.

Tony underpins the managerial structure of the company. He also has primary responsibility for our Quality Assurance System that ensures full compliance with all relevant legislation, and oversees all internal auditing.

With Tony's expertise Mantra Medical has been well structured and professionally organised from day one, and will firmly remain so as it grows.

Richard Jones

Director of Information Systems & Technology

Richard's primary background is in Information Technology and he has extensive experience in user experience design of web based systems. His ability to work with our design partners in developing first-class products has been invaluable and has been a major contributor to the quality of the finished products.

Richard also has responsibility for the entire IT structure of the company and his expertise has enabled Mantra Medical to establish an excellent IT suite, while focusing capital on product development and design.
